{"id":10287,"date":"2012-09-12T08:03:51","date_gmt":"2012-09-12T13:03:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bekahcubed.menterz.com\/blog\/?p=10287"},"modified":"2012-09-12T08:03:51","modified_gmt":"2012-09-12T13:03:51","slug":"snapshot-a-reluctant-fan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/bekahcubed.menterz.com\/blog\/2012\/20120912-10287.htm","title":{"rendered":"Snapshot: A Reluctant Fan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Those who know me know&#8230;that I am not exactly interested in sports.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not that I have anything <i>against<\/i> them, per se&#8211;just that they fail to interest me.<\/p>\n<p>But love compels me, and I have found myself at more games in the past month than (probably) I have attended in my entire life before.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"images\/20120912-01.jpg\" alt=\"Football\" height=\"300\" width=\"450\" class=\"aligncenter\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I love these people who God has set me into the midst of&#8211;and they love sports.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"images\/20120912-02.jpg\" alt=\"Football\" height=\"300\" width=\"450\" class=\"aligncenter\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So I take pleasure in cheering on Erik&#8217;s midget football team, Beth&#8217;s volleyball team, and Collin (#80) and Zach (#34) and the Columbus Middle School Sailors (No, they&#8217;re not actually the &#8220;Sailors&#8221;, but I&#8217;m going to go with Grandpa&#8217;s team name!)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"images\/20120912-03.jpg\" alt=\"Football\" height=\"450\" width=\"300\" class=\"aligncenter\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Loving them this way is definitely not natural&#8211;but it is certainly worth it.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.&#8221;<br \/>\n~I John 4:21<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Those who know me know&#8230;that I am not exactly interested in sports.
