{"id":11000,"date":"2013-04-24T09:18:50","date_gmt":"2013-04-24T14:18:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bekahcubed.menterz.com\/blog\/?p=11000"},"modified":"2013-04-22T16:24:24","modified_gmt":"2013-04-22T21:24:24","slug":"erratum-we-should-get-married","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/bekahcubed.menterz.com\/blog\/2013\/20130424-11000.htm","title":{"rendered":"Erratum: We Should Get Married"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the installment of &#8220;Our Story&#8221; entitled <a href=\"blog\/2013\/20130415-10944.htm\">We Should Get Married<\/a>&#8220;, the Author miswrote several pertinent details due to a faulty memory.<\/p>\n<p>Her husband was so kind as to have corrected her remembrance of the story, leading her to publish the following retraction:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I wrote of Daniel suggesting that we should stop talking about getting married&#8211;and then of myself going on a tangent to tell Daniel how I&#8217;d asked God if I would marry him. After hearing what God had told me (&#8220;I know, and when I want you to know, I&#8217;ll tell Daniel&#8221;), Daniel responded, &#8220;I think I do know.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Here, I went wrong in my storytelling.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel&#8217;s response was followed by his telling me that he should\/would pray about it himself a little more.<\/p>\n<p>It was the next evening, a Tuesday night, when the discussion turned to possible days we could get married before the next summer&#8211;and when we ultimately decided we would get married.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The author is sorry for having misrepresented the story of her engagement and hopes that no one has been harmed by her carelessness with the historic record.<\/p>\n<p>:-)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the installment of &#8220;Our Story&#8221; entitled We Should Get Married&#8220;, the Author miswrote several pertinent details due to a faulty memory.
