No, not older women chasing younger men&#8211;Mountain lions. Once hunted almost to extinction, they are now making their way back into our towns&#8211;with potentially dangerous implications. According to Reynolds (the Instapundit), this is &#8220;nonfiction, but it reads like a thriller novel.&#8221; <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 class=\"center\">Stuff I&#8217;ve Read:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><b><a href=\"http:\/\/mentalfloss.com\/article\/51362\/4-changes-english-so-subtle-we-hardly-notice-theyre-happening\">4 Subtle Changes in the English Language<\/a> from Mental_Floss<\/b>\n<ol>\n<li>From infinitive to participle<\/li>\n<li>From present to progressive<\/li>\n<li>From <i>ought<\/i> to <i>have to<\/i><\/li>\n<li>Increase in the &#8220;got&#8221; passive<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Not all of these changes are bad&#8211;but a few make me wonder. Why do we use the passive voice more often now? Does this indicate a lack of self-efficacy? Do *I* use the passive voice more frequently?
