I think this&#8217;ll be a fascinating read.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/blacklinsreadingroom.blogspot.com\/2010\/03\/wishful-drinking.html\" target=\"_blank\"><i>Wishful Drinking<\/i><\/a> by Carrie Fisher<br \/>\nThis memoir sounds like fun.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>News to take note of:<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scientificamerican.com\/article.cfm?id=genetics-in-the-gut\" target=\"_blank\">Is your gut bacteria making you fat?<\/a>  Exploring the strange links between genetics, disease, obesity, and&#8230;intestinal microflora?<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.healthfinder.gov\/news\/newsstory.aspx?docID=636619\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;It&#8217;s more likely that humans are <i>designed<\/i> to be conservative and religious.&#8221;<\/a>  Oddest statement I&#8217;ve ever seen from an <i>evolutionary psychologist<\/i>.  But from what I&#8217;ve seen of evolutionary psychology, I&#8217;m not sure the field is really that keen on <i>thinking<\/i> (pun and slight both intended.)<\/li>\n<li>Is there a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2010\/03\/100310164011.htm\" target=\"_blank\"><i>sixth<\/i> taste?&#8211;for <i>fat<\/i>?<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Thought-provoking posts:<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wired.com\/magazine\/2010\/02\/st_essay_distraction\/\" target=\"_blank\">Are you more productive when you&#8217;re tweeting? (or Facebooking?)<\/a>  This essay suggests that maybe it&#8217;s good for our brains&#8211;despite office efficiency experts naysaying.  What do you think? This is what I think about whenever one of these legalization advocates tries to convince me that legalizing marijuana would free up police resources. We&#8217;d still be up to our necks in it.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He has a point.<\/li>\n<li>Is Christian doctrine boring?
