Mark 1:10 “And immediately<\/b>, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove.”<\/p>\n

Mark 1:12 “Immediately<\/b> the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness.”<\/p>\n

Mark 1:18 “They immediately<\/b> left their nets and followed Him.”<\/p>\n

Mark 1:20 “And immediately<\/b> He called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants and went after Him.”<\/p>\n

Mark 1:21 “Then they went into Capernaum, and immediately<\/b> on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught.”<\/p>\n

Mark 1:28 “And immediately<\/b> His fame spread throughout all the region around Galilee.”<\/p>\n

Mark 1:31 “So He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately<\/b> the fever left her. And she served them.”<\/blockquote\n\nFrom the beginning, Christ's ministry was characterized by immediacy. He saw a need, and immediately responded. He acted and had immediate results. He commanded and expected immediate obedience.\n\nMy life, though, is too often characterized by eventually. Eventually, I'll respond to that need. Eventually, I'll finish that project. Eventually, I'll be obedient. For now, let me finish my blog reading, let me clean my house, let me read that book.\n\n\n\n
