Who can find a virtuous wife?
\nFor her worth is far above rubies.
\nThe heart of her husband safely trusts her;
\nSo he will have no lack of gain.
\nShe does him good and not evil
\nAll the days of her life.<\/p>\n

She seeks wool and flax,
\nAnd willingly works with her hands.
\nShe is like the merchant ships,
\nShe brings her food from afar.
\nShe also rises while it is yet night,
\nAnd provides food for her household,
\nAnd a portion for her maidservants.<\/p>\n

She considers a field and buys it;
\nFrom her profits she plants a vineyard.
\nShe girds herself with strength,
\nAnd strengthens her arms.
\nShe perceives that her merchandise is good,

She stretches out her hands to the distaff,
\nAnd her hand holds the spindle.
\nShe extends her hand to the poor,

\nFor all her household is clothed with scarlet.
\nShe makes tapestry for herself;
\nHer clothing is fine linen and purple.<\/p>\n

Her husband is known in the gates,
\nWhen he sits among the elders of the land.
\nShe makes linen garments and sells them,

\nShe opens her mouth with wisdom,
\nAnd on her tongue is the law of kindness.
\nShe watches over the ways of her household,
\nAnd does not eat the bread of idleness.<\/p>\n

Her children rise up and call her blessed;

\nAnd let her own works praise her in the gates.<\/p>\n
