Here in this uncertain season, when I have little but thesis to keep me busy and no idea what lies beyond my master’s degree, I am thankful.<\/p>\n

Today I’m thankful…<\/b><\/p>\n

…for my big sister’s reminding me that when this is all over and my story has been told, I will look back and be able to say that not only was God’s plan for my life good–it was the best<\/i><\/p>\n

…for my brother and sister-in-law for giving me a three step plan :-) for resolving the ambiguity of my future (Hah!)<\/p>\n

…for my dad for affirming my type-A, want-to-plan-everything-in-advance nature, while at the same time reminding me to trust God and let Him work His plan in the little day-to-day details that currently have me going stir-crazy<\/p>\n

…for a dear friend and sister who reminded me on Sunday that God holds my heart in His hands–and that He cares for my heart far more than I ever could<\/p>\n

…for an assurance that amidst the storms and uncertainties of life, when I can’t see beyond the clouds and rain, my anchor holds.<\/p>\n

My hope is built on nothing less
\nThan Jesus\u2019 blood and righteousness.
\nI dare not trust the sweetest frame,
\nBut wholly trust in Jesus\u2019 Name.<\/p>\n

On Christ the solid Rock I stand,
\nAll other ground is sinking sand;
\nAll other ground is sinking sand.<\/i><\/p>\n

When darkness seems to hide His face,
\nI rest on His unchanging grace.
\nIn every high and stormy gale,
\nMy anchor holds within the veil.<\/p>\n

His oath, His covenant, His blood,
\nSupport me in the whelming flood.
\nWhen all around my soul gives way,
\nHe then is all my Hope and Stay.<\/p>\n

When He shall come with trumpet sound,
\nOh may I then in Him be found.
\nDressed in His righteousness alone,
\nFaultless to stand before the throne.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
