I haven’t encountered any new memes in my blog reading this week (admittedly, I haven’t read a lot, being busy with other things)–so I actually had to GOOGLE a meme to play today.<\/p>\n

Introducing the “Four Things” meme (from Zeldman<\/a>, whoever that is, via Quixtar<\/a>, whatever that is.)<\/p>\n

Four jobs I\u2019ve had:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Housekeeper at a hotel (The Sawgrass Marriott in Jacksonville, Florida)<\/li>\n
  2. Health Aide for a residence hall<\/li>\n
  3. Teacher of University lab classes<\/li>\n
  4. Dietitian at a long term care facility<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    (Not very exciting. Sorry, folks!)<\/p>\n

    Four movies I can watch over and over:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Pride and Prejudice (A&E version)<\/li>\n
    2. My Fair Lady<\/li>\n
    3. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers<\/li>\n
    4. You’ve Got Mail<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Four places I\u2019ve lived:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. Lincoln, NE (all my life)<\/li>\n
      2. Jacksonville, FL (for a summer)<\/li>\n
      3. Juamave, Taumalipas, Mexico (for a month)<\/li>\n
      4. Columbus, NE (at least, I will be living there soon)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        I don’t love TV shows. I don’t love TV. I think it’s of the devil. :-)<\/p>\n

          1. The crystal bowl I got from my grandma<\/li>\n
          2. The wooden platter a sibling bought for me at a past missions conference<\/li>\n
          3. My Grandma’s china (all of it)<\/li>\n
          4. The little glass jars that hold my homemade yogurt<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            (Bet that wasn’t what you expected to see under my “favorite dishes”, huh?)<\/p>\n

            Four sites I visit (almost) daily:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            2. Life on Sylvan Drive<\/a><\/li>\n
            3. Lisa Notes<\/a><\/li>\n

              (This one is actually pretty hard because I have hundreds of blogs in my reader–and I generally read everything I can as quickly as I can.)<\/p>\n

              Four places I would rather be right now:<\/strong><\/p>\n

              1. In bed, sleeping<\/li>\n
              2. At my church’s missions conference (I should be grading papers–but am taking a brief break from grading to post something today.)<\/li>\n
              3. Reading a book<\/li>\n
              4. Pretty much anything except grading papers :-) (Or preparing lectures, for that matter)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
