\nPolitics IS interesting. Politics are not interesting. By which I mean, national politics is an interesting subject. Being involved in politicking (office politics, etc.) is not.<\/i><\/p>\n

\nSchool? What’s that? And promptness seems a bit more grown-up than tardiness.<\/i><\/p>\n

\nThey should add “by hand”. If so, it’d rule out every single one of my lab students. I think we should start requiring life skills classes in high school–make students learn how to sweep floors, wipe tables, and wash dishes (Oh, and recognize the difference between a towel and a washcloth.) It’s amazing how many simple skills are lacking in today’s youth.<\/i><\/p>\n

\nWas that “You can type PRETTY QUICK” (as in the words “Pretty quick”), or did it intend to say “You can type pretty quickly”? Yes, I am nit-picky about adjectives and adverbs.<\/i><\/p>\n

\nI don’t know what kind of adult they’re talking about here–’cause most adults I know have other ways of knowing people. They have old friends and church friends and acquaintances from here or there and neighbor-friends, etc.<\/i><\/p>\n
